Alila Diwa Goa, an Alila lifestyle hotel has been accorded the Critic’s Award for the ‘Best New Hotel’ at the 2011 Hotel and Investor Conference South-Asia (HICSA) awards that took place in Mumbai on April 6 and 7.
A total of 10 hotels were shortlisted by an esteemed panel of industry experts with the final selection being made by the HICSA delegates via an online voting system.
The HICSA Hotels of the Year Awards are recognized as a global benchmark for excellence in the travel and hospitality sector and honour the most outstanding hotel developments of the previous year in South Asia.
The awards have grown from strength to strength over the past three years a nd now encompass a wide range of products from across different segments of the industry with a new category for Best Green Hotel being added on this year.
