MICROS Australia’s Managing Director Christopher Adams says the Supplier of the Year win at the 2011 HM Awards is an “honour” for the company.
“We are honored to be selected the winner of HM Awards Supplier of the Year as it is voted for by top representatives in the industry,” he said.
“It is a credit to our team and their commitment to delivering superior service to our valued customers.”
This year was the first time a Supplier of the Year gong has been presented at the HM Awards and the award was judged by 20 of the hotel industry’s leading CEOs and Managing Directors spanning Australia, New Zealand and Asia-Pacific.
Adams said in addition to winning the major award, MICROS customers were well represented at the HM Awards, winning 42 out of 48 categories including budget, upscale and luxury hotels of the year. In addition, both overall Hotel and Brand of the year Awards went to MICROS partners.
The 2011 HM Awards presented by Sealy were held in front of a record crowd of 600 hoteliers, industry leaders and major suppliers at Sydney Town Hall on September 2.
