Dilmah and Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney have announced a three-year partnership.

Dilmah’s single origin 100% pure Ceylon tea is now available in all 563 rooms at Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney as well as at the hotel’s restaurants, bars and conference facilities.

“Dilmah is an iconic tea brand renowned internationally for its quality and authenticity, making it the perfect partner,” said Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney’s Director of Food and Beverage, Loren Heider.

The hotel serves over 1100 cups of tea per week and the new partnership coincides with the launch of a new High Tea offering at the property, which will complement the flavors and scents of Dilmah’s t-series.

“This is a major partnership for Dilmah in Australia as well as the wider international business,” said Dilmah Australia’s General Manager, Bill McEwan.

“Our shared vision with Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney goes far beyond commerce; our aim is for every guest to experience the best cup of tea – regardless of where they are in the world.”

Dilmah teas are also going to be offered in all Shangri-La luxury properties worldwide.
