Quest King William South Adelaide 1 - EDITED

Quest King William South has opened its doors in Adelaide’s CBD.

Quest CEO, Zed Sanjana, said the company is excited to be expanding its presence in South Australia, especially in Adelaide where growth prospects are strong and demand for corporate extended stay accommodation continues to increase.

“Establishing a strong presence in Adelaide is an important part of Quest’s growth strategy, especially given the increasing demand for Quest’s style of fully serviced apartments,” he said.

“The city’s accommodation market has already outperformed expectations this year, with results well above forecast.

“In just the first half of 2014, the market has experienced a 7.3% growth in occupancy with a 10.7% growth in REVPAR according to STR Global.

“Strong growth and a positive forecast underpin our confidence in the Adelaide market’s potential, demonstrated through today’s opening of King William South – the second Quest property to be opened here in the last 16 months.

“Quest King William South is perfectly located to meet the needs of the city’s growing corporate and business tourism markets and we are confident the location will provide strong returns for our newest franchisee, Taylor Spinks,” he said.

Quest King William South Franchisee, Taylor Spinks, has recently made the move from Quest Corporate Head Office to become a business owner and was delighted to welcome guests to the property.

“The Adelaide CBD has experienced a shortage of quality, flexible serviced apartment accommodation for some time and we are looking forward to meeting the needs of corporate travellers doing business in this flourishing city,” Spinks said.

“Key drivers of the recent growth include the completion of the Adelaide Oval project earlier this year and the ongoing redevelopment of the Adelaide Convention Centre, further strengthening the city’s capacity for hosting major conferences and exhibitions.

“Quest King William South will deliver a seamless experience for all our guests, ensuring they can focus on the purpose of their travel and leave the rest to us,” Spinks said.

The brand new Quest property is located at 379 King William St and features 105 studio, one and two bedroom serviced apartments.

Guests of Quest King William South will have access to conference facilities, a gymnasium, a rooftop BBQ terrace and Quest services such as pantry shopping, dry cleaning, restaurant chargeback, babysitting services and business administration.

King William South is one of eight new properties Quest will open in 2014 across a range of CBD, suburban and regional locations, including Woolloongabba (QLD), Berrimah (NT), Wellington (New Zealand), Newcastle West (NSW), Melbourne Airport (VIC), Townsville (QLD) and the Abbotsford (VIC) property, which opened in late April.
