SilverNeedle Hospitality (SNH) has launched its new 4-star brand Sage Hotels at the former 138-room Grand Chifley Hotel at 208 South Terrace in Adelaide this week.

“Service is one of the key pillars on which the Sage Hotels brand is built on,” said SNH CEO, Iqbal Jumabhoy.

“We also focus on Place – a home away from home– where there is a sense of familiarity with products and services, and Community where our guests can engage with us and enjoy a level of comfort that can only be experienced among neighbours and friends,” he said.

Sage Hotels guests will enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi in their rooms, mini bar offerings at prices comparable to those of local convenient stores as well as laundry services comparable to street pricing.

“We are honoured to be the first Sage Hotels property in Australia,” said Roger Law, General Manager of Sage Hotel Adelaide.

“It’s testament to the infrastructure development and confidence in the Adelaide tourism industry that SNH launched the brand in this city.

“Sage Hotels customers like to find everything just as they expect – no surprises, no fancy gadget, just a reassuring experience.

“This starts from the moment of booking right through to check-out. We are all about ease of use and the promise that the service will over-deliver to our guests’ expectations without being pretentious,” Law said.

SNH said the Chifley Wollongong would be the next property in SNH’s portfolio to be rebranded to Sage Hotel Wollongong in August and this would be followed by the opening upon completion of a new build Sage Hotels in West Perth in 2016.
