At the recent International Awards held at Sydney’s Westin Hotel, the Ray White Group’s Asia Pacific Director of Hotels, Resorts, Leisure and Tourism Andrew Jolliffe was credited with the Number 1 International Agent award for the second consecutive year.

The International Awards, attended by representatives from across Australia as well as international offices including New Zealand and from Sth East Asia and the Middle East, is the pinnacle in the annual calendar of events.

After an opening address from both Brian and Dan White, who’s family was recognized this year in Monaco at the Ernst and Young awards as one of the World’s Top 50 family businesses (the only Australian family to be recognized), Jolliffe was presented again with the Number 1 title.

In a year that has included sales for Jolliffe of Eureka Funds Management’s Crowne Plaza on Terrigal Beach, as well as successfully managed sale mandates for the likes of Frasers and Sekisui House, Jolliffe reflected upon the state of the market in the Asia Pacific. “It has been a strong 12 months for our group, and I’m an advocate for the view that current market conditions augur well for a robust 24 months ahead for the space.” “Fundamentally there exists an augmenting weight of capital, not restricted to off-shore interests, which is desperate to find opportunities both here and throughout the region; and the demand/supply imbalance prescribes a different approach from myself and our team on behalf of our client base. Long gone are the days of homogenized campaigns and auto-cued presentations to investors” commented Jolliffe.
