Quest Port Adelaide has opened its doors this week as the Apartment Hotels group continues to increase its Australian reach, with construction underway at another two properties, Quest Springfield and Quest 478 St Kilda Road.

On Monday (Nov 21), Quest Apartment Hotels opened Quest Port Adelaide, increasing Quest’s offering in Adelaide by 103 rooms.

The brand new premium apartment hotel is located near the iconic Fishermen’s Wharf Markets, Birkenhead Bridge and opposite the British Hotel, overlooking the Port River.

Quest Port Adelaide will provide much sought-after apartment hotel accommodation for corporate travellers as well as supporting leisure tourism traffic to the area.

Quest CEO, Zed Sanjana, was pleased to open the doors of Quest Port Adelaide, as part of the city’s largest major development in 45 years, only days after breaking the ground at Quest Springfield and Quest 478 St Kilda Road.

“Boasting over 7000 industrial and commercial enterprises in the area and strong growth in the health care, defence, education and training, transport and retail industries, Port Adelaide is an ideal location for our sixth Quest property in South Australia,” he said.

“With both the 478 St Kilda Road and Springfield sites now under development, Quest continues its commitment to provide adaptable, premium accommodation options where our core customer – the extended stay business traveller – needs to be, in CBD, suburban or regional locations,” Sanjana said.

Quest Port Adelaide Franchisees, Daniel O’Hare and Gustavo Romeo, expressed their excitement about being a part of the Quest network.

“With the significant urban renewal project for Port Adelaide, attracting both corporate and leisure travellers, we are excited to be providing an adaptable, superior accommodation option along the waterfront in the historic heart of Port Adelaide,” O’Hare said.

Construction of the $18 million development of Quest Springfield at Wellness Way, has officially begun, with Springfield Land Corporation joining with Quest to perform the official turning of the sod. The development – in the middle of the State’s high-growth Western Corridor – will add 83 rooms to the region’s accommodation market and support the emerging city’s ‘Health City’ precinct upon its completion in 2018.

Attending the event was Ipswich Mayor Paul Pisasale, Developer Maha Sinnathamby and Quest Apartment Hotels General Manager – Growth, James Shields.

EBG Developments has turned the sod on the $35 million development of Quest 478 St Kilda Road, one of two brand new developments in Quest’s Melbourne pipeline, which will add more than 100 rooms to the market upon completion in 2019.
