Outgoing Accor Pacific Chief Executive Officer, Simon McGrath AM

AccorHotels has signed The Sebel Auckland Manukau in a key expansion for the brand in New Zealand.

Currently under construction and set to open in Q3 2017, the 4.5-star apartment-style The Sebel Auckland Manukau will have 152 rooms over six floors and house a café/restaurant, conference space, gymnasium and car parking.

The Sebel Auckland Manukau joins the AccorHotels network following the signing of an agreement with Rayland Enterprises Ltd, developers of the hotel.

“This is a strategic and exciting new development for Auckland, and we are delighted to be partnering with Rayland Enterprises to provide high quality, international standard accommodation for south Auckland,” said AccorHotels Chief Operating Officer Pacific, Simon McGrath.

The new Sebel Auckland Manukau address will be the fourth hotel to operate under The Sebel brand in New Zealand, complementing The Sebel Quay West Auckland, The Sebel Auckland Viaduct Harbour and new-build The Sebel Wellington Lower Hutt also scheduled to open in 2019.
