Constellation Hotels has welcomed Australis Cairns Beach Resort to its rapidly expanding hotel network.
According to the chain, the addition of the resort will strengthen the Constellation Hotel network in far north Queensland with a well located Cairns hotel that holds great appeal to the domestic holiday market.
Australis Cairns Beach Resort is the closest beachfront accommodation to Cairns CBD, offering self- contained one bedroom apartments with large balconies overlooking Holloways Beach or the tropical surrounds. The resort is set on spacious, beautifully landscaped gardens, with an oasis pool setting, beachfront restaurant and bar, and guest BBQ facilities for do-it-yourself meals alfresco-style.
“Joining Constellation, an Australian-owned hotel group and with widely-recognized brands and loyalty program, will extend our sales and marketing reach and drive new guests to the hotel,” said Ian Stewart, General Manager of Australis Cairns Beach Resort.
“Coupled with state Tourism marketing initiatives currently in place post Cyclone Yasi, we believe business will be on the rise during the year ahead.”
Constellation Hotels Managing Director, Jonathan Wooller, said Cairns has long been an important destination strategically for Constellation and we can now provide our customers with another exceptional place to stay in the region.
Australis Cairns Beach Resort is the latest addition to the Australis Hotels & Resorts collection and the sixth Queensland location along with Townsville, Hervey Bay, Noosaville, Surfers Paradise and Coolangatta.
