Mantra Group has announced its second property in Bali, BreakFree Sing Ken Ken in Legian, which also marks the debut of the BreakFree brand in Asia.
Formerly known as the Sing Ken Ken Boutique Hotel, the property which opened in late-2012, will officially rebrand to BreakFree Sing Ken Ken in early October 2013.
Mantra Group CEO Bob East said the debut of Breakfree follows the successful launch of Mantra Nusa Dua earlier this year.
“Mantra Group is focused on growing our presence in Bali across all three of our brands and we are confident that BreakFree’s combination of great service and cost effective quality accommodation will work well in this region,” he said.
The 3.5-star hotel features 80 Deluxe rooms, Junior Suites and Executive Suites. A bistro-style dining outlet offers casual dining with a rooftop terrace restaurant and pool bar by the rooftop pool due to open shortly.
The resort is conveniently located on the beachfront at Legian near the famous Double Six beach, and walking distance to Seminyak and Kuta beaches.
The hotel features a well-appointed conference space for meetings of up to 150 delegates, theatre-style and cocktail-style functions for up to 250 people.
“We have concentrated on getting the product right for the BreakFree brand over the last few years which has meant divesting hotels that weren’t within our brand standards,” East said.
“As a result, we have a solid network of good quality hotels in Australia and the BreakFree brand is ready to be taken to a market like Bali.”
Mantra Group has again partnered with MJB Hoteliers to secure the new acquisition. A further six hotels are currently under negotiation and expected to join Mantra Group’s network by end of 2013 with a further 20 hotels in the region slated to join the Group by end of 2014.
