More than 6500 delegates from 73 countries attended the U.S. Travel Association’s 47th annual IPW in Orlando, Florida last week (June 1), one that saw nearly 100,000 pre-scheduled business meetings held.
Speaking exclusively on camera to HM in Orlando, the U.S Travel Association’s Senior Vice President, Business Development, and General Manager, IPW, Malcolm Smith, said travel initiated by IPW was projected to bring 8.8 million international visitors to the United States, $28 billion in total spending, and $4.7 billion in direct bookings to U.S. destinations over the next three years.
