Real estate and investment services firm, JLL Hotels and Hospitality Group, has expanded its hotels workforce with three senior additions as the team readies its ranks to service the growing needs of the sector.
Two new Senior Executives have been appointed to drive hotel and hospitality sales, with Chloe Mason joining the team in Perth, while Scott Parker has taken on a similar role in Brisbane. The team has also been bolstered by the addition of Gillian Berardi, who comes onboard as National Marketing Specialist.
Chloe Mason moves across to JLL having spent five years with CBRE in both Perth and Brisbane as a Senior Sales Executive, where she led a number of high-profile leisure hotel transactions. Also coming across from CBRE is Gillian Berardi, who brings highly developed hotel campaign marketing skills to her new role. Scott Parker brings a decade of experience in senior sales roles with Tabcorp Holdings and the Next Payment platform to his new position at JLL.
The trio will work alongside National Director, Pub Division, John Musca and Head of Investment Sales Australasia, Peter Harper, taking the team to 12. Musca said the increasingly consolidating industry is seeing cross-border representation becoming an ever more important factor for many operating groups.
“We’re building the team in anticipation of brokerage activity following a Nike swoosh trajectory in the medium term across the country,” he added.
Peter Harper added the addition of Mason and Parker will form an integral part of the national JLL Hotels offering.
“Chloe and Scott will provide wide-ranging advice to industry stakeholders, from operational reviews, general advisory to transaction structuring and capital deployment strategies,” he said.
