A new flexible co-working and event lounge has been opened at Park Regis North Quay in Brisbane as the company makes its first moves into hybrid hotel and office spaces.
Dubbed the Hive Club, the spaces are available both to in-house guests and entrepreneurial locals needing a quiet space to work. The move also reflects a growing global trend which forecasts the demand in co-working spaces and flexible offices to triple by 2030.
The Hive Club at Park Regis North Quay also offers views over the city’s Southbank Parklands, with workspaces available between 7am and 7pm daily. Spaces can be rented by the day, week or month, with both individual and communal spaces available, along with access to the hotel’s meeting rooms and boardrooms.
Guests of The Hive can also access continental self-serve breakfast from 7am – 11am, all-day self-service coffee and tea plus bottled non-alcoholic beverages, all-day “grazing menu”, wireless device charging, unlimited WiFi, printer, stationary, outdoor relaxation zone and access to daily newspapers and magazines.
StayWell Hospitality says the new facility will act as a blueprint concept and may be expanded to other locations across the group if it proves popular and in-demand.
