Little National Sydney, which was recognised as Australia’s Best Tech Hotel at the 2021 HM Awards, is using state-of-the-art technology to ensure guests enjoy a seamless experience with the highest standard of safety, convenience and personalisation, while minimising energy costs.
“We have the highest expectations for our technology solutions, partnering only with providers who go above and beyond in meeting guest expectations, ensuring operational efficiency and enhancing sustainability,” said Little National Sydney General Manager, Sandra Bellamy.
“We are very satisfied with ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions, Telkonet, and Liverton, who not only provided industry-leading solutions, but ensured that all of their advanced systems are instantly compatible with maximized effectiveness and ease-of-use in mind. Our guests are overwhelmingly satisfied with their heightened stay experience, and our energy costs have already been significantly reduced.”
The hotel features ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions’ VingCard Allure door locks, a customisable LED panel adjacent to guestroom doors and the latest RFID security encryption tech to ensure maximised guest security.
The customisable VingCard Allure can fully integrate with the property’s Guestroom Management System (GRMS) by Telkonet to inform hotel staff when a guest first enters the room.
Lighting and temperature controls can be automatically adjusted to provide the optimum conditions for guests on arrival. And by being able to detect the occupancy status of each guestroom, the hotel can implement automatic energy-saving settings on thermostats and lights once guests vacate the room. The hotel can also monitor temperature and lighting to ensure maximum energy efficiency.
Guests at Little National Sydney can check-in and out of their rooms safely, with minimum germ exposure, using the property’s Liverton kiosks with VingCard Allure lock. This integration saves on labour costs and time while streamlining the guest experience. Guests can also have a more personalised experience by linking to rewards programs.
