West Waters Hotel and Entertainment Complex in Melbourne Caroline Springs has been acquired by hospitality company Oscars Group.
West Waters Hotel, which is under the management of Accor, features 98 guestrooms, bistro and dining facilities, sports bar, conference and event spaces.
The Group said the venue team will stay on and continue to operate the business as usual, while Oscars gets a better understanding of the Melbourne market and the business itself.
it will allow the business to continue operating as usual with the venue team to stay on transitioning to form part of the Oscars Group team.
“We are very excited to enter the Melbourne market with the acquisition of West Waters,” said Oscars Group General Manager- Hospitality Operations, Carlie Carroll.
“The venue being a large-scale asset that provides multi-faceted income streams fits in well with our operating model and we are pleased that we are able to extend our relationship with Accor and welcome the Mercure Melbourne Caroline Springs into our portfolio.”
The transaction was facilitated by John Musca and Will Connolly of Jones Lang LaSalle.
