Wyndham Hotels and Resorts will launch a 300-cabin superyacht resort in Vietnam’s Halong Bay under a new partnership with Vietnamese private yacht manufacturer, Alliga Eternity Company.
Named Wyndham Alltra Cat Ba – after the island that it is docked off – the stationary yacht will offer an all-inclusive resort experience with eight food and beverage outlets, a series of meeting rooms, swimming pool and gym.
Wyndham said Vietnam is a key strategic market for the business, particularly over the coming years, as tourism picks up.
“By signing this strategic partnership with Alliga, we are reinforcing our commitment to deliver sustainable growth in the market, coupled with innovative concepts and offerings,” said Wyndham Hotels and Resorts Senior Director, Development, South East Asia and Pacific, Eudo Chan.
Wyndham Alltra Cat Ba, which is expected to open in June 2026, will be the first project under the partnership and Wyndham will explore other potential opportunities to collaborate with Alliga.
“Wyndham Alltra Cat Ba will be our first stationary superyacht in Asia Pacific and will join our existing Vietnam portfolio of 15 hotels across varying brands,” Chan said.
“We are looking very forward to working with Alliga, to continue bringing our signature ‘Count on Me’ service to a wider range of guests.”
Alliga is planning to build a second superyacht resort in Vietnam’s central coast city of Nha Trang.
“We are extremely glad to have found a valuable partner in Wyndham to share our like-minded goals and objectives,” said Alliga Eternity Company Limited Chairman, Bùi Viết Quân.
“With this being our first superyacht project, it is a logical choice to tap on Wyndham’s expertise and market experience to embark on this new chapter to cater to more guests – both locals and tourists alike.”
