Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has announced three new hotels agreements with Indonesia Hospitality Group under the Howard Johnson by Wyndham brand.
The signings include Howard Johnson by Wyndham Kota Kedoya Jakarta, Howard Johnson by Wyndham LA Hub South Jakarta, and Howard Johnson by Wyndham Treepark Tangerang.
The moves follow the signing of an exclusive development agreement between Wyndham and Indonesia Hospitality Group for the Howard Johnson by Wyndham brand, which saw the launch of the brand in Indonesia through Howard Johnson by Wyndham Pekalongan in February.
“Indonesia has and always will be an integral market for Wyndham’s Asia Pacific growth strategy, particularly so with the rapid rise in international and domestic tourism numbers,” said Wyndham Hotels and Resorts Vice President of Business Development South East Asia and the Pacific Rim, Matt Holmes.
“In deepening our partnership with Indonesia Hospitality Group and tapping on their in-depth understanding of the local market, we are excited to be growing our presence across Indonesia with the Howard Johnson by Wyndham brand offering to achieve greater milestones.
“We look forward to delivering more exciting guest experiences across our network of hotels, staying true to our mission of making hotel travel possible for all.”
Howard Johnson by Wyndham is a well-known mid to upper midscale global accommodation brand dating back to 1925.
The latest agreements will support the further expansion of the Howard Johnson by Wyndham brand in Indonesia.
“With the full reopening of borders across Asia Pacific, we observed a strong travel demand for travellers to visit Indonesia. As such, these are exciting times for Indonesia Hospitality Group as we partner Wyndham Hotels and Resorts to introduce Howard Johnson by Wyndham brand in Indonesia,” said Indonesia Hospitality Group Director Nathania Putri Budidjaja.
“We are looking forward to leveraging Wyndham’s comprehensive understanding of the market and their commercial and operational expertise to ensure all our guests enjoy their stay in these newly opened and to-be-opened properties.”
