Boutique luxury hotel Amora Brisbane has revealed its complete $30 million transformation, marking “a new era for luxury accommodation” in the city.
The project is Amora Group’s largest hotel refurbishment in Australia.
“Over the past few years, we’ve noticed that travellers have an evolved mindset, and are seeking out more unique and meaningful experiences to enhance their stay,” said Amora Group Executive Director, Earp Siriphatrawan.
“With Amora Brisbane, luxury becomes the love language for our guests and we offer them a 5-star level of service that anticipates their every desire.”
Designed by Cottee Parker, the new-look hotel features 296 guest rooms across 14 floors, an elevated outdoor pool and deck, with a fitness studio and sauna, and 11 revived conference and event spaces.
Each room features brand-new luxury beds, open wardrobes and decorative wallpaper.
Nature has a strong influence on the design with the arrival area serving as a “sub-tropical oasis” with an array of green plants, natural materials and textured screens.
An earthy and natural palette is used throughout the interior spaces, while the furniture is a mix of decorative rattans, walnut tones and tan fabrics.
The hotel has partnered with EarthCheck and has updated its lighting, plant and equipment systems throughout the building to reduce energy usage. The hotel is focused on minimising food waste through its kitchens, restaurant and bar.
“We’re really proud of the stunning design for Amora Brisbane that helps to create an atmosphere of wellness and relaxation like no other. We’re redefining the luxury experience where guests can expect a 5-star level of personalised service that embodies the Amora difference,” said Amora Brisbane General Manager, Tom Bloomfield.
In addition to the redesign, a new dining experience celebrating Australian native ingredients is set to launch soon.
