Regional accommodation provider G’day Group has invested AU$10 million in the redevelopment of its Katherine property in the Northern Territory, adding 13 deluxe two-bedroom cabins.
Discovery Parks – Katherine has undergone a major transformation with the new cabins, which open to guests on December 10, overlooking a new resort-style pool and BBQ area.
“The new deluxe cabins provide a touch of luxury in the heart of the rugged Top End, providing the perfect base from which to explore the region’s many natural wonders,” said G’day Group Chief Strategy Officer, Ben Simons.
“We believe this investment will set Discovery Parks – Katherine apart as the preferred accommodation in the area and furthers our commitment to investing in key tourist destinations across regional Australia.”
Designed and manufactured in Australia by Gold Coast-based modular accommodation manufacturer ModnPods, the cabins feature two bedrooms in queen and two single layouts, as well as a full kitchen and an elevated balcony.
G’day Group expects the cabins to boost the property’s appeal to travelling families and guests seeking a modern and comfortable base to explore the Katherine.
