Radisson Hotel Group is celebrating a new company record with the addition of over 30,000 keys to its portfolio through openings and signings in 2023.
“We are grateful to our owners and colleagues who helped us achieve a strong 2023 with more than 250 signings and openings worldwide and over 30,000 keys added to our portfolio, our highest ever,” said Radisson Hotel Group, Executive Vice President and Global Chief Development Officer, Elie Younes.
“We expect 2024 to be a continuation of 2023, with slower inflation and continued investor appetite in our sector. We will continue to innovate and respond to the ever-changing environment to create more opportunities for our owners and possibilities for our guests.”
The group’s flagship Radisson Blu brand continued to be the largest upper upscale brand in Europe for the 12th consecutive year.
In November, the group opened a flagship Radisson Blu property, Radisson Blu Hotel at Porsche Design Tower Stuttgart, while the signing of a new Radisson Blu hotel in the Triangle project in Paris is set to become the city’s new mixed-use destination. Additional announced openings and signings included new Radisson Blu properties in Jordan, Morocco, India, Turkey, Poland, Saudi Arabia, and Nigeria.
Berlin welcomed its first Radisson Individuals property with the opening of Hotel Berlin – the fourth largest hotel in the city with more than 700 rooms and suites. The brand also made its debut in Paris and Thailand with the respective openings of Hotel YAC Paris Clichy and Lewit Hotel Pattaya. In India, RHG opened two new Radisson Individuals properties in Navsari and Manali.
The Radisson Collection brand continued to grow in 2023, with several market debuts, key signings and openings in markets including India, Nigeria, Egypt and Lithuania.
The highly anticipated opening of Radisson Collection Hotel, Santa Sofia Milan, marked the second RC property in the capital of design and fashion, and its fifth in Italy.
In partnership with PPHE, RHG accelerated global growth of premium lifestyle brand Art’otel in 2023, increasing the brand portfolio to ten distinct brands under one overarching umbrella.
The Radisson brand remains the fastest growing brand in the industry. In 2023, Radisson added nearly 40 properties to its portfolio through openings and signings.
