A US$1.3 million refurbishment project has been completed at Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay, resulting in a transformation of its Club Wyndham Asia suites, pool suites and pool villas.
Following significant enhancements to elevate the club member experience, a total of 20 suites and villas have unveiled a contemporary Thai aesthetic blended with a design narrative inspired by the nearby Kamala Beach.
“We are thrilled to reveal our reimagined club pool suites and villas at Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay, showcasing meticulous attention to detail, storytelling by design, and dedication to Club Wyndham member experiences,” said Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific Senior Vice President Acquisitions, Procurement and Property Development, David Wray.
“The design successfully weaves the story of Kamala and the lotus into a harmonious tapestry of modern Thai design, creating a journey of discovery and five-star comfort for our valued members.”
Led by the design team from award-winning S+A, the once minimalistic style has been updated with a vibrant and relaxed beach atmosphere enriched by lotus motifs and modern Thai decor.
Key upgrades include the refinishing of wooden floors, textured paint, and wallpaper accents, redesigned kitchenettes and mini bars for improved functionality, the addition of new furniture and fixtures, technological upgrades and upgraded lighting solutions.
The colour palette draws from the sea, sky, and lotus flowers to create a cohesive visual experience that reflects the local environment and culture.
A new deck was engineered using a blend of recycled plastics and wood fibres, with new outdoor sun beds available for guests.
