Adelaide hotels will be in the spotlight at upcoming hotel architecture and interior design conference, Design Inn Symposium.
In less than two weeks, on Tuesday April 30, Design Inn delegates will gain access to dedicated site tours of a number of new and refurbished hotels, including an exclusive first look of new-build Crowne Plaza Mawson Lakes, which is due to open in later this year.
Delegates will also gain access to a private tour of contemporary new-build hotel, Mantra Tonsley Adelaide, which opened last year.

Fresh from a multi-million-dollar renovation, unveiled last year, the new-look Peppers Waymouth Adelaide will also be available to explore, as well as recently refurbished Hotel Alba, Independent Collection by EVT.
Described as a ‘stylish urban retreat’, this South Terrace hotel launched in September 2023 following a transformative refurbishment.
Activity in Adelaide’s hotel market with a number of major hotel projects in the works including the first Marriott hotel in South Australia – a 285-room new-build hotel housed within the iconic Adelaide GPO – which is due to open in the coming months. Greaton Pty Ltd National Design Director, John Gounios, will share an insight into this heritage project with Design Inn delegates during the conference sessions.

Marriott International is also set to introduce the first Westin Hotel in Adelaide in late 2026 following the signing of a 236-room hotel with Australian property developers Freemasons South Australia and Northern Territory and Pelligra Group.
Additionally, Crystalbrook Collection recently announced plans to expand into the South Australia market following the signing of a AU$130 million new-build hotel in Adelaide’s CBD with local property developer, Samaras Group.
