Holiday Inn hotels across Australia will play host to numerous Lego-themed experiences throughout April and May to mark a new partnership with Nine’s hit tv show Lego Masters Australia.
Designed in consultation with Lego Masters Australia season one winners, Henry Pinto and Cade Franklin, the custom-built ‘Holiday Inn-spiration’ sessions will include brick building workshops for families, sip-and-brick sessions over coffees and pancakes, as well as special guest appearances at select locations.
In a nod to the Holiday Inn brand colour, a Green Brick hunt will invite guests to find one of 10 hidden green Lego bricks inside Holiday Inn guestrooms to win a 50,000 IHG One Rewards point voucher to redeem a free one-night stay at any IHG property globally.
“Holiday Inn and Lego Masters are two of the world’s most loved and recognised brands, building on a rich emotional desire to enable connection among guests and fans,” said IHG Hotels and Resorts Vice President Commercial, East Asia and Pacific, Dean Jones.
“The activations bring to life the very heart of the Holiday Inn brand which exists to bring people together and celebrate what matters most in life. Being the first hotel brand to partner with Lego Masters Australia offers our guests unforgettable and inimitable access to these creative experiences, while the broader partnership will take us directly into the loungeroom of generations of Australians.”
The integrated partnership also sees the release of a 30-second TVC filmed at Holiday Inn Dandenong – one of the country’s newest Holiday Inn hotels featuring its modern design and Open Lobby concept.
