The time has come to recognise the top performers in the hotel industry across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific with entries now open for the 2024 HM Awards for Hotel and Accommodation Excellence, presented by Sealy Posturepedic.
The HM Awards return for the 22nd annual event on Friday November 29, 2024 at the Grand Ballroom, ICC Sydney to uncover the best people, properties, departments, brands and chains in the business of accommodation.
This year, New Zealand and the South Pacific is set to enjoy its own unique celebration with an awards cocktail celebration for the region to be held at Cordis Auckland on Friday, November 1.

Before nominations close on August 30, you will have the opportunity to put forward your best properties, teams and individuals across the Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific region for consideration.
The awards are open to people who work in the hotel industry in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific and it is free to enter.
Now in its 22nd year, the annual HM Awards is a highlight on the social calendar of the hotel, hospitality and tourism sectors, with excellence to be recognised across nearly 50 categories.
HM Awards was a sell-out event in 2022 and 2023, drawing a crowd of 1,000 people last year to celebrate the industry’s brightest stars.
HM Awards Chief Judge, Founder and HM Magazine Editor-In-Chief, James Wilkinson, said he looks forward to celebrating another successful year for the accommodation industry.
“We are proud to present and host the HM Awards and recognise some of the best and the brightest people, departments and properties in the industry,” he said.
“We have seen some stunning new hotels open and others thrive in their destination, run by the best hotel staff in the world – and that’s what we can’t wait to recognise at our annual gala presentation dinner later this year.
“What’s really exciting this year is we are expanding the New Zealand and South Pacific categories and awarding more people and properties than ever before for their excellence in hospitality.”
