Capstone Hotel Management has introduced Auckland’s newest lifestyle hotel, Soho Hotel Auckland, in partnership with owner-developers IPG Corporation Ltd.
The 126-key property, located at 180 Stoddard Road, Mount Roskill, features an art deco-inspired design, Asian-fusion restaurant and bar, in-house café, and a double-level spa, which is set to open later this year.
“We are thrilled to open Soho Hotel Auckland which ticks all the boxes for an urban escape,” said Capstone Hotel Management Managing Director, Clare Davies.
“It’s gorgeous art-deco and organic design aesthetic, balcony rooms, premium dining, meeting and events spaces, and onsite car parking brings a fresh new offering to Mount Roskill.
“We welcome locals to meet for coffee, dine, and stay in style alongside our in-house guests.”
The Spa X Soho – presenting an Asian approach to wellness – will feature a large luxurious onsen pool and dry sauna, seven treatment rooms including two couple’s spa rooms. The wellness offering includes an outdoor meditation deck, yoga space and gymnasium.
Guests can enjoy their own spa and relaxation experience in room with a spa suite boasting outdoor hot tubs.
Tiger Bar and Restaurant serves Asian-fusion cuisine in the evenings and breakfast, while a glass-walled Café Luxe allows visitors to enjoy the Auckland skyline views over coffee from 7am-3pm daily.
A pillarless ballroom that caters for up to 200 guests features a tulip flower chandelier aptly named ‘Eternal Bloom’, designed by the hotel owner, Rishi Parbhu.
The chandelier features 308 tulip flowers suspended in a captivating wave-like formation, inspired by his mother, Chhaya Parbhu, a floral artist.
Two smaller meeting rooms are also available for boardroom meetings or under a whole level buyout.
