The deadline for entries to the hotel industry’s eminent awards has been extended by one week, to Friday September 6, giving additional time to nominate deserving individuals, hotels and hospitality groups.
Now in its 22nd year, the HM Awards recognises personal and company excellence across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.
Each year, more than 1,800 nominations are assessed to determine worthy winners across more than 40 categories. Nomination is free once again in 2024.
This year, regional properties are encouraged to apply with a Lodge award up for grabs in both Australia and New Zealand. HM Awards is also on the lookout for Australia’s top technology hotel, with those taking an innovative, forward-thinking approach encouraged to apply.
In 2024, dedicated awards for properties in New Zealand and Fiji will shine the spotlight on the hotel industry in these nations. Fijian categories include Boutique Resort, Upscale Resort, Luxury Resort and South Pacific Property.

This year’s winners will be announced at the 2024 HM Awards Aotearoa-Pacific ceremony at Cordis Auckland on November 1 and then at the 2024 HM Awards Australasia Pacific gala presentation evening at the Grand Ballroom of ICC Sydney on Friday 29 November 2024.
