Seibu Prince Hotels and Resorts has named Lee Richards as the new Chief Executive Officer of its hospitality arm outside Japan, taking the reins from Simon Wan who is set to retire after 17 years at the helm.
Richards brings over 30 years of experience in strategic growth and operational excellence, from previous roles at Swiss-Belhotel International and Millennium Hotels and Resorts.
He will drive the operational excellence and expansion of Seibu Prince Hotels and Resorts’ international portfolio.
Currently operating over 80 hotels, 31 golf courses, and 10 ski resorts across Japan and other international destinations, the company is targeting 250 hotels globally, including 150 properties beyond Japan, by 2035, with a particular emphasis on upscale to luxury properties.
