Brooksy Bar at Amora Hotel Jamison Sydney captures the essence of the 1920s speakeasy with modern sophistication, attracting patrons with its distinctively themed ambience on York Street, amidst Sydney’s bustling bar scene. This bar invites guests on a sensory journey into the past, reminiscent of an era defined by opulence and glamour.

The interior is a meticulous curation of Italian marble, rich velvet banquettes, and detailed French oak flooring, combining elements that celebrate the Art Deco movement. The striking brass accents and statement metal light features create an atmosphere that is both elegant and inviting, ensuring a luxurious experience that resonates with those who crave immersive escapades beyond the ordinary.

In designing Brooksy, no expense was spared, and each material was chosen for its quality and authenticity to mirror the 1920s aesthetic.” Dark mahogany and walnut woods bring warmth, while the polished marble reflects both style and substance. Plush velvets and leathers enhance the bar’s promise of comfort, crafting an alluring setting that seamlessly blends past and present.

Brooksy further distinguishes itself in Sydney’s competitive bar scene by not just being a destination for drinks but an entire experience. The establishment offers curated entertainment, from tableside entertainment such as fortune-telling to Instagram-worthy cocktail presentations, ensuring every visit is memorable. Brooksy’s cocktail menu, crafted by Michael, is a passport to adventure, drawing inspiration from the golden age of travel. Signature cocktails like the Down Under, with its bold blend of blood orange and eucalyptus-infused gin, and the exotic, absinthe-misted Waikiki are crafted to transport and tantalise, each sip an adventure to capture and savour.

The culinary offerings are designed to complement the exquisite cocktails. The menu, curated by Executive Chef Hemant Dadlani, features inventive dishes such as yuzu scallops with ikura and Jamaican jerk chicken sliders, blending global flavours with local ingredients. Equally tantalising
