The Princes Gate Hotel Group, led by Auckland-based investor Cindy Hao, has appointed Capstone Hotel Management to operate three of its boutique properties in Rotorua.
The three signings include luxury properties The Black Swan Lakeside Boutique Hotel and Hana Lodge, as well as the historic Prince’s Gate Boutique Hotel.

The Black Swan Lakeside Boutique Hotel, located on the shores of Lake Rotorua, offers nine rooms and suites with indoor gas fireplaces, private outdoor terraces with fireplaces and mini bars.
There are several meeting spaces, two spa pools and a swimming pool on site, as well as EV charging points, and a jetty for boating and floatplane access.
Hana Lodge, located within 15-acres of parklands, features 13 guest rooms including the recently added Hana House, a four-bedroom accommodation that sleeps up to seven guests.
The premises features a swimming pool, twin spa pools, sauna, games room with a snooker table, championship-sized tennis court, and helipad.
The latest signings bring Capstone’s management portfolio to 20 properties throughout New Zealand.
