Parkroyal Parramatta is set to unveil a transformation of over two thirds of its 286 rooms and suites in the hotel’s original tower in April 2025.

Renowned designer John Dunn of IDC Designs will introduce signature design elements that reflect Parramatta’s unique Australian landscape, from squiggly gum carpets and native flora wall motifs to white marble furniture accents reminiscent of the Sydney Basin.

“We’re thrilled to bring a new chapter to Parkroyal Parramatta, which has proudly served Western Sydney for years,” said Parkroyal Parramatta Hotel Manager, Hans Joachim.

“This refurbishment really showcases our commitment to delivering a modern, elevated experience that not only meets the standards of today’s traveller but also celebrates Parramatta’s dynamic and rapidly changing landscape.”

The refurbishment project will also deliver an enhanced welcome experience for guests.

Close to significant attractions like the forthcoming Powerhouse Museum Parramatta and Western Sydney Airport, Parkroyal Parramatta expects to benefit from a surge in domestic and international tourism across Western Sydney in the coming years.

“As Parramatta continues to grow as a destination, we look forward to welcoming guests into a space that is both a tribute to the area’s rich heritage and a symbol of its exciting future,” said Pan Pacific Hotels Group Cluster General Manager, Jeroen Meijer.

“With this refurbishment comes a desire to stay ahead in a competitive market as the area continues to evolve into a major hub.”
