Patrick Laybutt, Pearson Hotels

Experienced hotelier Patrick Laybutt has joined emerging Australian hospitality group, Pearson Hotels, as Group Director of Operations and Development.

Throughout his hospitality career, which spans more than 20 years, Laybutt has held executive-level roles with EVT, Marriott and most recently Swiss-Belhotel International, where he has spent the last five years, most recently serving as Vice President of Operations and Development.

In this new role, based in Brisbane, he will be responsible for driving operational excellence, enhancing brand presence, and spearheading the growth of Pearson Hotels as a leading hospitality group in Australia.

He will also focus on identifying opportunities for expansion, developing innovative strategies, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences across all properties.
