F&B Director appointed at Crystalbrook
Crystalbrook Collection has appointed Tara Sullivan as Group Director of Food and Beverage, overseeing its 17 restaurants and bars.
Sullivan brings over 25 years of experience leading hospitality teams including as Chief Operating Officer at Lotus Dining Group, The Grounds Group and Solotel, and shares a committment to forging strong relationships with local producers and reducing food waste.
“Tara’s energy, expertise and passion for people make her the perfect addition to our leadership team,” said Crystalbrook Collection CEO, Geoff York.

A strong advocate for diversity and equity in the industry, Sullivan was recently appointed Chair of Women in Hospitality, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting the hospitality careers of women through mentorship, education, and networking.

Hyatt Hotel Canberra – A Park Hyatt Hotel is ushering in a new chapter under the leadership of Shane Jolly as General Manager.
Commencing the role on March 11, Jolly oversees all hotel operations, bringing a wealth of expertise leading luxury hotels and driving operational excellence.
Prior to this position, Jolly held senior leadership roles with several prestigious brands under the Hyatt, The Langham and The Peninsula portfolios.

General Manager appointed at Crowne Plaza Hobart
Crowne Plaza Hobart has welcomed Scott Schaefer as General Manager.
Schaefer brings over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, most recently in new hotel openings such as Holiday Inn Dandenong in 2023, and Hotel X Brisbane, Fortitude Valley, as the Pre-Opening General Manager.
In 2018, Schaefer joined IHG’s Sydney head office as Director of Operations Support and Franchise for Australasia and Japan, which saw the development and roll out of several brand and guest service initiatives.
Schaefer will be responsible for driving the hotel’s performance, service excellence, and continuing its reputation as one of Hobart’s premier hotels.
“The Crowne Plaza Hobart is an iconic and brand-defining property, and since it’s opening in 2020, I have been a keen observer of this wonderful hotel,” Schaefer said.

Vomo Island Resort Fiji has appointed Leon Pink as General Manager.
