The Tasman, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Hobart has launched a collection of exclusive excursions to give guests access to unique local experiences.
Known as The Keys, these experiences have been orchestrated by The Tasman’s Les Clefs d’Or Golden Keys Concierge in partnership with local operators.
“One of the luxuries of travel is its transformative nature – it has the capacity to widen perspective, spark connection (and reconnection), or catalyse personal growth,” said The Tasman General Manager, Carolyn Smith.
“The Tasman’s guests, and indeed many visitors to Tasmania, are discerning global travellers who are seeking this brand of enrichment that is individualised and native to the destination.”
One of the three experiences include Kunanyi with Wild Wellness – a guided journey where guests walk, pause and meditate together, before plunging into the waters of Kunanyi’s alpine plateau. Hot drinks and local treats are provided as the experience finishes with a science-backed journalling session.

Meadowbank with Meadowbank MTB takes guests an hour west of Hobart alongside the Derwent River is Lake Meadowbank, “where a winding dirt track gives way to a hidden valley and vineyard”.
“Here, adventurers will traverse professionally designed and built private mountain bike trails” before lunch on the picturesque property.
The Reminiscent with The Raconteur experience sees a scent sommelier take guests on a guided masterclass of Tasmania’s native flora.
“Over Tasmanian wine and cheese, guests will craft their own scent from locally harvested botanicals and distil it into a candle to take home, reigniting memories of Tasmania every time they light its wick.”
“We encourage guests to venture out and explore, knowing they’ll be richly rewarded for it,” said The Tasman Hotel Les Clefs d’Or Concierge, James Nobleza.
“Each day we have the honour of seeing their joy as they delve into the culture, natural wonders and incredible produce.
“The Keys takes this to another level, allowing our guests hands-on experiences that they would not otherwise be able to enjoy.”
