The Ascott Limited has introduced its second Lyf property to Australia with the opening of Lyf Bondi Junction Sydney on April 9.

Located in the heart of Bondi Junction, the hotel features 197 thoughtfully designed rooms, fostering a unique blend of social living and flexibility.

Known as Ascott’s “social living” brand, Lyf features experience-led spaces and communal facilities designed to encourage interaction and collaboration, in line with the evolving preferences of business and leisure travellers.

“The expansion of Lyf in Australia reflects the growing demand for alternative lodging concepts that embrace social-living and co-working spaces,” said The Ascott Limited, Australasia, Managing Director, David Mansfield.

“Lyf Bondi Junction Sydney is designed to be more than just accommodation; it’s a vibrant social hub where guests can experience a strong sense of community while enjoying unparalleled convenience in one of Sydney’s most connected precincts.”

Facilities at Lyf Bondi Junction Sydney include a rooftop gym and laundry, a communal kitchen, and ground-floor public spaces, including co-working and social zones

The property is also set to introduce an all-day dining venue, Bonnibel, on the ground floor, complete with outdoor alfresco area.

Bonnibel aims to deliver “a relaxed yet energetic dining experience” and will host weekly events and community activations as well as cater to private events.

“Bonnibel is set to become the go-to gathering spot for Bondi Junction, delivering an unbeatable combination of casual excellence, fresh flavours, and community spirit,” added Mansfield.

“We’re bringing an all-day dining concept that is as approachable as it is exciting, offering a space for guests and locals alike to experience the best of Bondi Junction.”

Australia’s first Lfy property, Lyf Collingwood Melbourne, opened in 2022.
