Virgin Australia has launched its inaugural flight between Sydney and Hong Kong, the latest step in the airline’s expansion in Greater China.
Speaking exclusively on camera to HM Editor-In-Chief and WAYFARER TV Host, James Wilkinson aboard the launch flight earlier this week (July 2), Virgin Australia Group CEO and Managing Director, John Borghetti, said the new services, which have come a year after Melbourne-Hong Kong flights took off, have already proven popular with the carrier recording strong forward bookings in both directions.
