Ovolo Hotels has entered a strategic partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) which will see seven of its properties join the 500-strong independent global collection.
The alliance will support Ovolo’s global expansion through SLH’s global sales, distribution, and marketing platforms, increasing its brand awareness internationally.
“We are thrilled to partner with Small Luxury Hotels of the World, a brand synonymous with independently spirited hotels and excellence,” said Ovolo Hotels CEO, Dave Baswal.
“This strategic alliance not only strengthens our presence across key global markets, but also allows us to showcase the distinct character and innovation that defines Ovolo, whilst remaining independently owned and operated. We look forward to truly connecting with more travellers in our region and beyond.”
The collaboration sees Ovolo Woolloomooloo (Sydney), Ovolo South Yarra (Melbourne), Ovolo The Valley (Brisbane), Ovolo Nishi (Canberra) and Ovolo Central (Hong Kong) integrated into SLH’s collection, with By Ovolo Collective properties, Laneways by Ovolo (Melbourne) and Mamaka by Ovolo (Bali) set to join in the first quarter of 2024.
“The global alliance with Ovolo Hotels brings exciting prospects and elevates SLH’s presence in Australia,” said Small Luxury Hotels of the World Senior Vice President Asia Pacific, Mark Wong.
“The unique character of each Ovolo property, along with its high standards of excellence they carry, will fit perfectly with our existing independently-minded SLH member hotels.”
Ovolo Hotels operates eight boutique hotels across Hong Kong, Australia, and Bali with a strong focus on design and sustainability.
With a portfolio spanning more than 90 countries, the SLH collection centres around bespoke and personalised luxury experiences with a firm sustainability objective.
