Delta is building on its largest-ever winter schedule to the South Pacific with the launch of a seasonal route from Los Angeles to Brisbane, Queensland, from December 4, 2024.
The carrier’s flights to the capital city of Queensland will operate three times per week through March 28, 2025.
“With this addition of Brisbane, Delta’s upcoming winter schedule will offer our customers up to 17 weekly flights between the U.S. and Australia,” said Delta’s Senior Vice President of Network Planning, Joe Esposito.
“This marks our most extensive schedule to the South Pacific to date, and as we build our presence in the region, we know our customers will enjoy the enhanced experience consistently provided by Delta.”
Delta’s LAX-to-Brisbane route is the latest in a series of investments the airline – already the leading global carrier at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) – is making in the South Pacific region.
In winter 2022, Delta introduced a second frequency from LAX to Sydney, and just recently enhanced those flights to daily, providing customers access to Sydney via 14 flights per week.
The airline also launched daily service from LAX to Auckland, New Zealand, in October 2023 and three-times-weekly flights to Tahiti in December 2022.
