The inaugural Asia-Pacific Hotel Industry Conference and Exhibition (AHICE) Fiji Islands Investment in Tourism Summit is set to take place in just seven days with the event garnering the support of more than 35 major industry partners.

Presented by Fiji Airways and hosted by HM Magazine, the AHICE Fiji Islands Investment in Tourism Summit takes place on Wednesday July 3 and Thursday July 4 at the Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa, Denarau Island.

The Fiji event kicks off with networking events at the new Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort and Spa and Sheraton Fiji Resort and Spa, before a full day of conference sessions on Thursday at the Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa.

Tourism Fiji and Investment Fiji have thrown their support behind the event as co-hosts, while major hotel operators Accor, IHG Hotels and Resorts, Marriott International, alongside leading membership and travel company, Travel and Leisure Co., and Fijian conglomerate Tappoo have joined as Principal Partners of the event.

An exclusive launch event was held in December 2023 at the Sheraton Fiji Golf and Beach Resort and was attended by almost 100 leading hotel owners, operators, consultants and suppliers from across Fiji and Asia-Pacific.

The launch of AHICE in Fiji follows the success of the recent Asia-Pacific Hotel Industry Conference and Exhibition held in Adelaide, South Australia during May and attended by a record 1,500 delegates, making it the largest accommodation event in Asia-Pacific region.
