Time is running out to enter nominations in the 2024 HM Awards, to recognise the top hotels, resorts, departments and people across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
On the back of increased entries and significant demand, more categories for New Zealand and the South Pacific are being added to the HM Awards program for 2024, alongside an all-new ceremony for the region at Cordis Auckland on Friday, November 1.
The move to expand the HM Awards to New Zealand – in association with Hotel Council Aotearoa and Tourism Fiji – follows hot on the heels of the AHICE Aotearoa and AHICE Fiji Islands events that have drawn over 600 and 330 leading hotel industry executives at the most recent events in October 2023 and July 2024 alike.
“What’s really exciting this year is we are expanding the New Zealand and South Pacific categories and awarding more people and properties than ever before for their excellence in hospitality,” said HM Awards Chief Judge, Founder and HM Magazine Editor-In-Chief, James Wilkinson.
“Many of the categories being awarded in New Zealand and the South Pacific have never been recognised at an industry awards event and we are excited to make this happen for 2024 and beyond.”

This year’s winners will be announced at the 2024 HM Awards Aotearoa-Pacific ceremony at Cordis Auckland on November 1 and then at the 2024 HM Awards Australasia Pacific gala presentation evening at the Grand Ballroom of ICC Sydney on Friday 29 November 2024.
