Accor’s hotel loyalty subscription programme Accor Plus is celebrating 30 years with over 450,000 members and a network that spans over 1,000 Accor hotels and 1,400 hotel restaurants across 20 countries.

Started in 1994 as Accor Advantage Plus in Sydney, Accor Plus is now integrated with Accor’s global loyalty programme, ALL, giving members access to Elite status benefits such as priority check-in, a welcome drink, late check-out, discounts and more.

Accor Plus CEO, Renae Trimble, believes the subscription loyalty model, particularly in travel, is only set to grow.

“We pioneered this approach three decades ago, and what started as a cutting-edge concept has scaled to more than 1000 Accor hotels across Asia Pacific and has matured into a key driver of business,” Trimble said.

“Our insights show that travellers are looking for getaways that offer both value and elevated experiences – precisely what Accor Plus delivers.

According to Trimble, Accor Plus is set to drive the next wave of growth and opportunity in loyalty subscriptions.

“We’re evolving because innovation is at the heart of smart business, and we’re committed to shaping the future of the industry,” she said.

“With a growing hotel network, we continue to deliver unmatched value and exclusive experiences for our members and business partners.”

Trimble thanked members and Accor team members for their contribution to the programme.

“As we celebrate 30 incredible years of Accor Plus, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been an integral part of this journey,” she said.

“Our unwavering loyalty and trust of valued members have been the foundation of our achievements. Accor Plus members are more than just guests – they are brand advocates who stay longer, spend more, and continue to choose Accor Plus year after year.

“This journey has been inspired and led by many, allowing us to reach significant milestones together. A special thank you to our dedicated Accor and Accor Plus teams across all our Accor hotels and offices across Asia Pacific.”

To celebrate the milestone, Accor Plus is offering a 30% discount on its 12-month memberships from 17-29 September 2024 and is extending its exclusive and ‘surprise and delight’ experiences for existing members with more than 2,500 offers during this Anniversary year hosted across Accor hotels including Sofitel, Pullman, Novotel, Mantra, Ibis and more.

“We wanted to commemorate this milestone by providing savvy travellers the opportunity to experience elevated hotel stays packed with value and enjoy the unique benefits that our programme provides,” Trimble added.
