Veriu Group has welcomed its largest hotel to date with the official opening of Veriu Macquarie Park this week, after almost three years in planning and development

Developed in partnership with Holdmark Property Group, the new 184-key hotel – a mix studio and one-bedroom apartments – is located within Macquarie Park’s thriving business hub on Lane Cove Road.

“This is our sixth Veriu apartment hotel offering in the Sydney market, in one of its most dynamic regions,” said Veriu Group CEO, Zed Sanjana.

“Macquarie Park has undergone exponential growth and redevelopment in recent years, and that shows no signs of abating.

“The State Government’s 20-year Macquarie Park Place Strategy envisions a world-leading innovation district, blending residential, commercial, and retail spaces, driving the need for high-quality accommodations like Veriu Macquarie Park.

“There’s clearly a growing demand for quality accommodation options in the area. So, we feel our timing has definitely been right.”

The property features a 24-hour reception with self-check-in and check-out kiosks, expansive conference and meeting facilities, an outdoor terrace, guest pantry, gym and in-room laundry facilities, plenty of car parking, and bike racks and rental bikes for eco-conscious travellers.

Sanjana said partnering with Holdmark was a “natural choice”.

“As a highly respected developer, with a track record of delivering innovative spaces that blend functionality and style, Holdmark was a natural choice for us,” he said.

“When we signed the hotel partnership deal, we knew this hotel would set a new benchmark for quality and design, and I think what we have ended up with has well and truly exceeded our expectations in this regard.”

The Macquarie property caps off a busy year of openings for the apartment hotel group, bringing Veriu Group’s total number of properties to 25.
