Jonah’s Relais and Châteaux is a premium venue for a la carte dining, leisure stays, conferencing, weddings and retreats. The hotel is located in Sydney’s Northern Beaches and has 11 boutique accommodation rooms and our award winning hatted Restaurant.
The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the profitability and success of Jonahs. The key focus of this role is for you to provide a customer service superior to others with an emphasis on friendliness and professionalism. This is to be in conjunction with growing both accommodation and food & beverage revenue.
In this hands on role, you will directly manage all facets of this property including revenue management, food and beverage, marketing, recruiting & training, customer service and achieving financial targets. A key part of the role is direct customer interface.
As a proactive leader you will also be instrumental in driving change and improvements in performance and implementing strategies and procedures in line with business objectives, reporting directly to the Group Manager.
To be successful in this role, you MUST have:
- Previous experience in Boutique 5 star resort/ hotel environment at GM or senior operational management level
- Demonstrated exceptional financial and revenue management ability
- Possess sound strategic thinking and planning skills
- Demonstrated expertise and commercial success in F&B and Conferencing and Weddings
- Be committed to providing an exceptional , personalised experience for your guest
- Exceptional leadership skills with demonstrated results in hands-on management and problem solving
